Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Do you accept insurance?

A: At this time, we do not.  Being able to access benefits through your insurance company is a great asset for many families.  However, by remaining independent and working with private-pay clients, we are able to avoid the need for prior authorizations and begin working with our clients right away.

Q: Do you work with children, adults, or both?

A: Right now, our focus is in the area of pediatrics, working with children from birth to 18 years of age.  However, we are licensed and able to work with both children and adults.

Q: Are services provided in person or virtually?

A: We are able to provide services in person or virtually, depending on the client's location and needs.

Q: How do you determine if therapy is needed?

A: We can use a variety of standardized and informal assessments during the evaluation process in order to determine if there is a need for therapy in any area.

Q: How long does a session last?

A: Evaluation sessions usually last 60-90 minutes and therapy sessions typically last 20-45 minutes depending on the client's age, level of attention, and needs.
